WATCHMEN RULES!!

Last night I traded two K48s to see the WATCHMEN on the IMAX - Lincoln Square... I have to say that it lived up pretty well to the graphic novel - frame by frame - but, it's not perfect. They did score BIG on Dr. Manhattan - maybe a little too much blue paint :) - as well as a lot of other things like Night Owl is totally bootylicious and Rorshach rocks! I recommend seeing it on the IMAX and eat a magic cookie about 30 minutes before showtime.

Shutter Interface (1975)

Paul Sharits (1943-1993) at Greene Naftali, is my favorite show at the moment. Known for his structural films, Sharits pioneered the use of multiple projectors, infinite film loops, experimental soundtracks, and interventions at the level of the filmstrip in order to realize his elemental mode of cinematic presentation.

Brigid Berlin at The Warhol

This past weekend, Robert and I took a trip to Pittsburgh to see The End at the Warhol and also the Brigid Berlin show. It was so awesome and fun! Thank you Ed, Marcus, John & John, Tom and Jacob for showing us a good time. We also visited the Mattress Factory and the Paper Rad show rocked! I love Pitts - it's super cheap and trashy - in a good way :) - go Steelers! And go to Lucky's, they have dick dancers!

You want this?

Yes! I love Michael Mahalchick's (K48#6) new show at Canada Gallery... with global economies collapsing - it's time to be thrifty. It's like if WALL•E was making art out of the junk he collects. Awesome :)
